The cast, crew, and production team of ‘& Juliet’ is back at it, and bringing their ‘larger than life’ production to you… baby one more time!
Shakespeare’s most famous story has received a brand new uplifting and unexpected message: “my loneliness ain’t killing me no more”, straight from the brilliantly creative mind of the fantastic David West Read.
At the centre of it all, is the fantastic music of the pop powerhouse, Max Martin. If you don’t recognize the songs, covering anything and everything from ‘Larger Than Life’ and ‘I Want It That Way’ to ‘...Baby One More Time’ and ‘I Kissed a Girl’, we’d have to wonder whether you’ve been anywhere near earth in the past few decades.
Apart from this, ‘& Juliet’ is bursting at the seams with chemistry that oozes from the all-star cast into the audience, inclusivity like you’ve seldom experienced before, interesting and effective arrangements of the music that everybody knows and loves, and of course, captivating special effects and visuals, brilliant lighting, delightful sets, thrilling choreography, and creative Elizabethan-meets-21st Century costumes. As a whole, ‘& Juliet’ is the perfect amalgamation of 16th Century and modern styles, spectacularly original, high-spirited, and heaps of fun!
’& Juliet’ premiered in the Manchester Opera House in 2019 before moving to the West End, kicking up quite the fuss.
The production scooped up three Laurence Olivier Awards, as well as a record-breaking 13 WhatsOnStage Awards-nominations, of which they took home six.
Now, finally, ‘& Juliet’ is coming to town, and you don’t even have to travel far to catch it live! The venue sports stunning decor, state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment, comfortable seating spread across various levels, top-notch facilities, impeccable sight-lines, and friendly and helpful staff, so get ready for a fantastic night at the theatre!
