Choosing to begin again with Juliet's equally-committed friends, they are all introduced to a bigger landscape beyond what Juliet and her friends were accustomed to after they move to Paris, France.

Given that 400 years have passed since Romeo and Juliet, '& Juliet' also presents itself with storytelling that appeals to a younger audience. To present its narrative across to the audience, the play uses a set of songs taken from pop music’s top producer, Max Martin. The Swedish songwriter and producer previously had intentions of immortalizing his songs through theater as well, giving rise to ‘& Juliet’ being launched and afterwards debuting in 2019. Martin was completely selfless in the renditions of his hits to the musical, stating that he “wished for '& Juliet' to have its own unique identity, and to let theatergoers experience that even if it is a very different medium for his usual work, fans could discover their love for his hits again.” The ongoing musical ended up including hits from world-class artists including Celine Dion, Britney Spears, P!nk, and The Backstreet Boys, among others.
